Let's face it... sometimes mobile web pages suck. Ads, social sharing widgets, auto-playing videos, and other "enhancements" can actually make reading articles on your phone an exercise in frustration. In early 2016, Google launched Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project to solve this problem. AMP is an open source project designed for publishers who create mobile content. The first part of the session will be a general overview of AMP. The second part will be demonstration of how to integrate AMP into a Drupal site.

Presenter:
JP McNeal

For as long as he can remember, JP has been interested in technology. As a child he attended computer / tennis camp, but never picked up a racket. After college, he spent the first ten years of his career in the non-profit world, and eventually found Drupal in 2008. JP lives in Portsmouth, where he is co-organizer of the Seacoast Drupal User Group.
